In the cool and dignified form of the Stadium '59, Godin have improved on an ever-familiar TE-style classic with some ultra-modern tweaks. This superb professional instrument scores all the points in look, sound, and feel. While the body shaping has been directly based on the original, extra contouring has been added along the top edge to enhance forearm comfort and lend a more contemporary aesthetic, while the rounded heel at the pocket eases fret reach and the net 12 inch fretboard radius has a distinctly snug and smooth feel.

The rock maple neck has been teamed up with a rosewood fretboard and bolted onto the Canadian Laurentian basswood body. This combo doesn't just guarantee unrivalled stability, but lays down a clear sonic core that warmly rounds out in the higher registers, preventing the tone from becoming shrill. The build also supports an immense dynamic range, so you can get maximum expression out of this refined instrument. In terms of hardware, you're getting a Custom T ashtray-style bridge complete with three brass saddles that inject robustness into the sound which is fully adjustable yet retains an old-school vibe. Besides outstanding intonation, excellent tuning stability is assured by the installed set of Godin oil-bed 18:1 ratio tuners and a Graphtech nut.

A Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1n, a Custom Cajun Single-Coil & Godin HDR Circuit

The SH pickup configuration of the Stadium '59 compiles a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1n at the neck and a Custom Cajun single-coil at the bridge. While the neck humbucker provides sweet and transparent, vintage-style double-coil tone, the more brutal single-coil brings that tasty TE-style sound. On top of a volume and control pot and three-way switch, the electronics section has been completed by a Godin High Definition Revoicer: this smart true-bypass circuit switches the passive sound of the pickups to active, doubling the sonic palette with a light volume boost.
